Friday and Saturday, October 6 & 7, 2017
A lot of time and effort goes into providing a venue where LHS grads can gather and once again, renew those special friendships that were part and parcel of attending Loyola. Over the last number of years, Thanksgiving Weekend has been the choice of most reunion years. The main reason for selecting this time of year is that a number of reunion events are already in place.
On the Friday night, the Alumni Association hosts the "Annual Oysters, Beer and Smoked Meat" evening. This event has become a favourite for all alumni, including those not celebrating a special anniversary year. Every year close to 500 alumni join in the festivities. It also provides an opportunity to meet grads in years that were close to yours. For all the latest updates, please visit the Official Facebook Page for the event.
On the Saturday, there are tours of the school and a Mass at four p.m. Saturday night belongs to the individual classes. Needless to say, a number of other activities are thrown into the mix by class organizers.
The school looks forward to welcoming you on Thanksgiving Weekend 2017: Friday and Saturday, October 6th and 7th. It is always a special moment when alumni greet each other after an absence of a number of years. Come and cherish the moment and, once again, walk down memory lane!
