A few years ago, the Mothers' Guild, a group integral to the running of the school store, decided to offer Loyola families the option of buying gently used clothing, namely: suits, blazers, dress pants, dress shirts, ties and belts.
According to Guild President Loriann Daigle, "[The Mothers' Guild is] very passionate about helping those students who might not be able to afford new suits. Some suits that we've received still have new tags on them!" Guilder Kuljinder Kaur added, "The boys are Men for Others by donating the clothing they are no longer using, and it helps out those who are unable to purchase higher, regular priced clothing."
Interested in perusing the selection of used clothing? Used clothing may be purchased at the major clothing sales. Parents, please check the June mailing for details on the upcoming August sale.
Would you like to donate? Thank you for thinking of those in need. Kindly drop-off your clothing donations (suits, blazers, dress pants, dress shirts, ties and belts only) at the front reception, weekdays between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m..
