A contingent of eleven people from Loyola High School spent the first week of their March Break on a service-learning trip in the Dominican Republic in order to learn first-hand about the causes and reality of poverty in the developing world.

The Loyola High School robotics team, The Northern Knights, won the Regional Championship in Waterloo, Ontario on March 27. The team then competed against high school teams from across North America and beyond in front of 20,000 fans in Atlanta, Georgia.

This summer, Loyola is offering a "Latin and Ancient Greek" course open to friends and Alumni. The course runs from June 29th to July 16th and will take place during the day. Sponsored by La Fondation Humanitas, the cost is $100. For more details, email Denis Brault at braultd@loyola.ca.
