This year promises to be the best one yet! A lot of time and effort have gone into providing a venue where LHS grads can gather and once again, renew those special friendships that were part and parcel of attending Loyola. Over the last number of years,
Thanksgiving Weekend has been the choice of most reunion years. The main reason for selecting this time of year is that a number of reunion events are already in place. On the Friday night, the Alumni Association hosts the
"Annual Oysters, Beer and Smoked Meat" evening. This event has become a favourite for all alumni, including those not celebrating a special anniversary year. Last year close to 500 alumni joined in the festivities. It also provides one with an opportunity to meet grads in years that were close to yours.
On the Saturday, there is "The Annual Lorne White Memorial Soccer Tournament", which is open to teams from all years and includes girlfriends/spouses etc.. There are also tours of the school and a Mass at four p.m. Saturday night belongs to the individual classes. Needless to say, a number of other activities are thrown into the mix by class organizers.
The school looks forward to welcoming you, one and all. To see what is being planned for your reunion year (those years ending in a "0" or "5"), click on your year below. It is always a special moment when one sees alumni greeting each other after an absence of a number of years. Come and cherish the moment and, once again, walk down memory lane!
